Types of Paraprofessional Positions in our Duval County Public Schools:
- Elementary and Secondary Paraprofessionals—support students in grade-level general education classrooms
- ESOL Paraprofessionals—support students who are English Language Learners
- Alternative School Paraprofessionals—support students in alternative program settings, such as Mattie V Rutherford or Bridge to Success
- ESE and EBD Paraprofessionals—support Exceptional Education students in general education or self-contained classroom setting
- Student-focused Paraprofessionals—Support students one-on-one with educational and/or physical needs
- ASD Paraprofessionals—support students with Autism in a self-contained setting
- PI Paraprofessionals—support students with Physical Impairment needs
